DOVE®’s Recycling Program 

Capt-all is a closed-loop recycling program designed to support practical dental office workflows. Used Capt-all are returned through DOVE’s free recycling program, and processed for recycling.

Capt-all provides a practical path to EPA 40 C.F.R. § 441.30(a)(2) compliance while supporting a safer, more consistent approach to amalgam waste management.

1. After use, place used Capt-all into the provided recycle box. 

2. Once the recycle box is full, request a prepaid shipping label by scanning the QR code on the recycle box or fill out the Recycling Shipping Label Request below.  

3. Your prepaid UPS shipping label will be emailed directly to you. 

4. Once you receive your label, prepare the recycle box for shipping. 

• Ensure the small cap is tightly secured on the box.
• Place the plug hole cap over the box opening.
• Tape the prepaid shipping label over the plug hole cap to seal your box for transport.

5. Arrange for the recycle box to be picked up by UPS from your dental office or drop it off at a local UPS store for shipping.

6. A certificate of recycling is provided via email for compliance documentation.

7. The returned Capt-all tips are disassembled and processed for recycling.
